| I purchased your Small Business Manufacturing software via Amazon today. I've been testing the demo until the DVD arrives and I cannot figure out how to make multiple products (parts) from one component (sheet of flat steel). We manufacture sheet steel products and often make several different parts (articles) from a single sheet of material (component) based on which program we run. I need to be able to remove a single sheet of raw material (steel) from inventory and produce several parts from it. Those manufactured parts go into inventory to be used later to make final product assemblies. It appears your software will currently only allow one product to be made from one or more components, but not the other way around as I need it to do. Can you help me with this? I tried to use negative values in the components to actually increase stock rather than decrease it, but the software doesn't accept that. I also tried to use the Factor function but that didn't work either. I have virtually no programming experience. | |

| Hello, the software does not differentiate between products and components. You can create several other articles from a "sheet steel", as well as create a "sheet steel" from several other articles. Best regards Administrator | |
